History of national monuments in Indonesia - Jakarta

National Monuments - This 128.70-meter-tall structure was constructed in 1961, namely, under the administration of President Soekarno. Sukarno initially sponsored a competition to determine the ideal icon for the nation's capital. The Obelisk idea created by Friederich Silaban won the President's heart at last. However, Soekarno felt uneasy as it was being built, so he substituted Raden Mas Soedarsono, a Javanese architect. Engineer Sukarno conveyed his thoughts to Soedarsono till it was transformed into the current National Monument.

The lighthouse project was actually completed at a time when the state's financial situation was in a highly precarious state for the building of the National Monument. Sukarno was also engaged in another endeavor at the time that may be described as more "noble," namely the building of the Istiqlal Mosque, the biggest mosque in Southeast Asia. Sukarno was forced to make a difficult decision, and in the end he decided to finish the Monas Monument project rather than the home of Allah. Unusually, the two big projects were finished after the G 30 S PKI uprising, when President Soekarno was no longer in charge.

5 Things About Monas You Should Know:

1. Monas's Size and Contents

Monas is constructed in the shape of a yoni phallus and rises up to a height of 132 meters. Marble is used to cover the entire structure.

2. Tongue of Fire

A chalice at the summit holds a bronze flame that is 14.5 tons in weight, 17 meters high, and 6 meters in circumference. This flame is covered in 45 kilograms of gold. The tongue of fire of Monas is assembled from 77 separate pieces.

3. Peak Field

The peak's courtyard measures 11x11 meters in width. Visitors can take the elevator, which takes around 3 minutes to get to the top courtyard. Around the lift is an emergency staircase. Visitors may view Jakarta's skyscrapers from the top court of Monas. Visitors may still see Mount Salak in West Java and the Java Sea with the Thousand Islands despite the clear air.

4. Fourth Court

The width of the bottom page is 45 m. The lower court is 17 meters higher than the base of Monas. Visitors can see Monas Park in this area, a stunning urban forest.

5. National Museum of Conflict

The National Museum, a sizable space, is located at the base of Monas. It stands 8 meters tall. The history of the Indonesian people's fight is on exhibit in this museum. This museum is 80 m2 in size. There are 12 dioramas (show windows) on the museum's four sides that depict Indonesian history from the time of the Indonesian forefathers' kingdoms through the G30S PKI.

Sukarno, known for his flamboyance at the period, favored Monas because it was a representation of a massive phallus. It makes sense that the national capital's emblem represents male vitality (linga). Sukarno was a complete visionary with excellent vision. He doesn't just leave the phallus/linga being built. At the same moment, he also gave the order to build Yoni, a feminine representation of himself, directly above Monas. Be the Monas as it currently exists, a structure that represents the merger of Linga and Yoni, a representation of men and women.

In his wonderful book, Dan Brown claims that the marriage of Linga and Yoni is an old sexual ritual called The Sacred Sextum. For Luciferian organizations (devil worshipers), such as the Knights Templar and Freemasonry, this is the highest rite.

As the Holy Sextum, Monas

There are other additional obelisks dotted around city centers all throughout the world, including the Monas Monument. The earliest obelisks, which are enormous symbols of ancient and contemporary paganism, come from Ancient Egypt. In addition to Cairo and Jakarta, the original Egyptian obelisk can be found in Washington, DC, the seat of the present international power. It is situated just in front of Capitol Hill, where America's incoming president has taken the oath of office for generations. In Vatican City, where Pope Francis is the sole Roman Catholic leader, we may also see an obelisk or phallus in the center of St. Peter's Basilica's piazza. The Eiffel Tower-shaped steel obelisk that stands in the middle of Paris, the capital of France, could also be considered the modern phallus.

The obelisk is a representation of power, strength, and masculinity.

If we look attentively, the Monas Monument's presence in the center of the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia is a subtly ironic parody of Pancasila's founding principles. The Holy Communion, which is practiced openly throughout God's home, is symbolized by the monas. He made fun of the Istiqlal Mosque, the Cathedral Church, and the Immanuel Church.

Indeed, it is true that Monas occasionally represents this country's increasingly shameless character. In its shadow, as well as the shadows cast by the nearby trees and dense plants.
