Indonesian satay recipe from Madura Sweet and Savory

  • 500 gr chicken fillet

  • 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Peanut sauce:
  • 300 ml water
Ground spices :
  • 150 gr roasted peanuts
  • 5 pieces of curly red chili
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp fried onions
  • 3 hazelnuts
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
Complement :
  • Rice cake
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Red onion, coarsely sliced
  • Lime

How to Make Chicken Satay from Madura:

1. 3x2x1/2 cm chicken fillet should be cut.

2. Use a skewer to pierce each of the four pieces of chicken.

3. Blend all the spices for the peanut sauce.

4. Put in a container, add water, cook until boiling and thick. Cool after removing.

5. Put three tablespoons of oil, sweet soy sauce and peanut sauce on a flat plate before frying the satay. Good stirring
